The Stable micro cabin

The Stable is a part of the homestead Jonrud, by Follsjø. It is surrounded by beautiful flower meadows and sheep grazing in the summer. Follsjø is a popular location, great for swimming and fishing.

The cabin is small, but we trust that you will find everything you need. It consists of a living room with a kitchen, a sofa and a dining table. In the kitchen there is a dormitory stove with a hob and a fridge. The sleeping place is on loft, with a steep latter and 2 x 120 cm mattresses. It is possible for up to 4 people to stay here, but only if you are close friends ;) The sofa can turn into sleeping accommodation for two people.

New as of 2022 is access to a brand new bathroom with shower and toilet, and a small a kitchen. This is located in the barn 15 meters away. Note that there is no running water in the cabin itself

Outside there is a dining table and a simple charcoal grill.

There is a nice swimming area in beautiful Follsjø approx. one minute walk from the cottage. There is also a simple boat with oars and engine, that can be rented by appointment.
